Accreditation - Unit standards

A Simple Explanation

Since Congruence Training offers it's clients short courses (1,2 or 3 days), assessment is offered against unit standards registered through SAQA (South African Qualification Authority) on the NQF (National Qualifications Framework). Unit standards vary considerably, some offering broad definitions and others very narrow. Assessment can be formative (on course whilst learning) and/or summative (after initial training). Once a learner has been found competent against a unit standard, that achievement is registered on the NQF and the learner receives a certificate acknowledging their achievement.

Unit standards

Learners on Congruence courses can be assessed by qualified assessors against NQF unit standards as a result of attending the following learning programmes:

Assertiveness
Business Writing
Conflict Resolution
Customer Relationship Skills
Management Skills
Presentation Skills
Stress Management
Time Management
Team Enhancement

Kindly note that on public programmes assessment against registered unit standards is only offered in respect of Customer Relationship Skills and Presentation Skills at this time.
